Information session about the Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work Code of Practice

This online information session has been designed for businesses and each session will be divided into two parts:

Part 1: NSW Code of Practice: Managing psychosocial hazards at work

SafeWork NSW have recently released the Code of Practice: Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work. It provides practical guidance for businesses and workers to prevent psychological and physical injuries at work.

The session will unpack what’s in the Code including: common psychosocial hazards, duties for managing psychosocial hazards, risk management, responding to reports of psychosocial risks or incidents, supporting return to work and industry scenarios.

Part 2: People at Work psychosocial risk assessment tool

People at Work is a free, validated and evidence-based psychosocial risk assessment survey tool with benchmarking for medium to large size businesses that can help you to meet your work health and safety obligations. We’ll explain how the free tool can help you manage the risk of psychosocial hazards in your workplace. It helps you to identify and manage work-related psychosocial hazards and factors and doesn’t need an expert to interpret the results. The tool also provides organisations with their results in a detailed report with suggestions for improvements.

Each session has limited places. Do not miss out on this opportunity, register for one of the free sessions now.
