An invitation only industry lunch for our construction members, select formwork companies and invitees to hear an update on the new Safe Formworker Safety program, the work the FIA has been doing with both Federal and State governments to improve formwork safety and skills and how you can get involved.

• To learn more about the new Safe Formworker Program, supported by NSW Department of Education and how we are re-engaging formworkers in learning.
• To work together on ensuring our target of 1000 formworkers complete the program by July 2020.
• To learn more about how the FIA is building a new education and skills pathway for Australian Formwork to address the skills shortage and ensure competent and quality practices are rewarded.
• To hear how the FIA is addressing the legal requirement of competency of its members workers, to ensure their safety training is current and up to date, in an industry that has no licensing requirements to work on site, or indeed an education and skills pathway, enabling them access to government funding.
